PhD in Literature, master's and bachelor's degree in Hispanic Letters. At 19, he received the Mustakis Award for Young Talents. At 29, the Pablo Neruda Award for his outstanding career both in Chile and abroad. He has been a fellow of the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage, Andes Foundation, FONCA (Mexico), AECID (Spain) and Conicyt (current National Agency for Research and Development). He is the compiler of the two volumes of 4M3R1C4: Newest Latin American Poetry (2010 and 2017) and Halo: 19 Chilean poets born in the 90s (2014). He appeared in Plural Body. Anthology of Contemporary Hispanic American Poetry (2010) by Pre-Textos and The Open Canon. Latest Poetry in Spanish (2015) by Visor, among others. His poetry project, Architecture of the Mentality, consists of The Divine Revelation (1999-2011), Under the Tongue (2007-2009) and OIIII (2012-2019). His autobiographical essays on poetic work are Goodnight Fireflies (2017), Proper Names (2018) and Against the Dawn (in preparation). All published by RIL editors in Chile and Spain. He is also the organizer of several meetings such as "Poquita Fe: Ibero-American Poetry in Chile" (2004-2014) and in Spain "Golden Age of Latin American Poetry 1922-2022"; editor, among others, of A Sea of Stones (FCE, 2018) and My God Does Not See (Vaso Roto, 2022) by Raúl Zurita, and professor of literature at various Chilean universities.
