Mariana Ruiz Johnson was born in Buenos Aires in September 1984. She studied for a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts at IUNA, where she attended workshops in Painting, Drawing, and Engraving, among others. She also studied Children's Illustration with José Sanabria at the Escuela Sótano Blanco, where she additionally attended various illustration seminars. She currently works for various Argentine publishing houses and advertising agencies.
