But of course, Four Crows, who rose to power as a war chief in their first year with the Rangers, still reigns supreme over the the plains and arroyos of the north Texas panhandle. In Wes Crowley Texas Ranger, the story of the Talbot brothers continues into the next generation. This is the final trilogy, and as such it bridges the gap between Comanche Fire and Leaving Amarillo. We see new Rangers sworn in who later are killed or leave. If you've read from the first book (The Rise of a Warrior) you will say goodbye to longtime friends. But then you will also welcome some new ones who will continue into the future. Welcome. I hope you're enjoying the ride.
