T. Kingfisher es el seudónimo ligeramente absurdo de la escritora Ursula Vernon que, en su otra vida, escribe libros para niños y cómics extravagantes. Ha ganado toda clase de premios literarios que la reconocen como una de las escritoras más talentosas de la fantasía actual (Hugo, Sequoyah, Nebula, Alfie, WSFA, Cóyotl, Ursa Major…) y también ha sido nominada a los premios World Fantasy y al Will Eisner Comic Industry. T. Kingfisher es el nombre que usa cuando escribe libros para jóvenes de mayor edad y también para adultos. Su obra lleva los cuentos de hadas y duendes a otro nivel.
