Synopsis "Zebra's Rock and Me. Behind the scenes of ICE STATION ZEBRA"

A wild casting call, a twelve-hour wait, and an incredible amount of patience were all it took to land a major role in a multi-million dollar studio film. The nineteen-week production, working side-by-side with Rock Hudson, Ernie Borgnine, Patrick McGoohan, Tony Bill, and Jim Brown, was only part of the adventure. As a young actor and aspiring filmmaker, the experience was an education like no other. Every actor knows about the down-time-those hours off-camera-and, like everyone else, I searched for something meaningful to do. I chose to assist the producers, as well as the legendary director and editor, whenever I had a free moment. It was the best decision I ever made-an opportunity I couldn't pass up.
Those priceless moments also revealed a completely different side of Rock Hudson. His kindness deeply influenced my view on helping others, permanently changing my life. To this day, I'm still amazed at how just nineteen short weeks could completely shift the course of my career.
