Zona Vigor (zo-na-vi-gore) is a San Francisco Bay Area based tribal electro-industrial act created by Jonathan Castro under the alias Jon Zombie in 2006.In 2006 Jonathan Castro began experimenting with a musical fusion between industrial hellektro club beats with an ethnic world influence, that has since grown into a much more cyber industrial sound. After being bestowed the alias Jon Zombie by his older brother, Castro began to compose music for his first music project named "The Jon Zombie Project". After completing 6 full demo tracks, he independtly released them in a very rare release entitled "Demo The Dead" (limited to 66 copies). The most popular track off ''Demo the Dead'' entitled "Iraq Bleedz" has been in circulation ever since by DJ''s in both the US and parts of Europe. In 2008 the track was remixed into an extended club version. During a almost year long hiatus Jon Zombie concentrated on networking overseas as well as promoting his music via social internet networks such as myspace, among others.
