Carmine Infantino fue un dibujante, editor y director editorial estadounidense considerado una de las figuras más influyentes en la historia del cómic de superhéroes. Nacido en Brooklyn en 1925, desarrolló gran parte de su carrera en DC Comics, donde desempeñó un papel fundamental durante la llamada Edad de Plata del cómic. Su estilo dinámico y elegante ayudó a redefinir personajes clásicos, especialmente con la renovación de Flash en 1956, un acontecimiento que marcó el inicio de una nueva era para la industria. También participó en la creación visual de personajes como Batgirl, Elongated Man y Deadman.
