Alberto Vergara

Alberto Vergara is a Peruvian political scientist who serves as a professor in the Department of Social and Political Sciences at the Universidad del Pacífico in Lima. He earned his PhD in Political Science at the University of Montreal, Canada, with a scholarship from the Trudeau Foundation, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University. Additionally, he has taught courses on Latin American politics at institutions such as the University of Montreal and Sciences Po in Paris and Poitiers. His books belong to the political essay genre and reflect his commitment to analyzing Latin American reality.
