Aldo Duzdevich
Aldo Duzdevich (Pergamino, 1955) is a journalist, writer, and Argentine politician. He was active in Montoneros until 1974, when he co-founded the Juventud Peronista Lealtad, distancing himself from the confrontational line with Juan D. Perón. In his political career, he served as councilor and provincial deputy in Neuquén for the Partido Justicialista. Additionally, he worked as regional director of ANSES for La Pampa, Neuquén, and Río Negro.
As an author, he is noted for his research on the recent history of Argentina. He co-wrote La Lealtad: los Montoneros que se quedaron con Perón (2015), and is the author of Salvados por Francisco (2019), where he documents 25 testimonies about the aid provided by Jorge Bergoglio to those persecuted during the last military dictatorship. His works address historical memory from a critical and testimonial perspective.
