Ángeles Quinteros
Ángeles Quinteros studied Law and Hispanic American Literature at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, a master's in Book Publishing at the Diego Portales-Pompeu Fabra University, and a master's in Children's and Young Adult Literature at the Autonomous University of Barcelona
As an author, she has published numerous children's books, for which she has been recognized with awards such as the Cuatrogatos Foundation Award (United States), Los Mejores Award from Banco del Libro (Venezuela), Colibrí Medal from Ibby (Chile), White Ravens Award (Germany), The Braw Amazing Bookshelf Bologna Ragazzi Award (Italy) and Marta Brunet Award (Chile). She has been published in Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Ecuador, Brazil, Spain, Peru, Uruguay, and China, among others
In 2023 she opens her children's book publishing house Libros del Escuincle, with an emphasis on children's poetry and informative books
