Carina Mermelstein
Born in Buenos Aires in 1969, she studied Law, a profession she practiced for almost thirty years. In her literary facet, she trained in various workshops and narrative courses with Argentine and foreign authors. She obtained the certification from the international postgraduate program "Escrituras: Creatividad Humana y Comunicación", cohort twelve from Flacso Argentina. Additionally, she completed a Master's in Creative Writing at the University of Salamanca.
She is the author of short stories, non-fiction narratives, and general interest articles. Some of her travel stories are "La casa de atrás" (2018) and "Solos en el tiempo" (2019). She was a finalist in the Viajes Encadenados micro-story contest over eight weeks of 2020, organized by the Club de Escritura Fuentetaja, with the work "Agente Súper Secreto". Likewise, she was the winner of the Cuaderno Abierto meeting in 2021.
