Carlos A. Scolari
Carlos A. Scolari is a Professor in Interactive Digital Communication Theory and Analysis at the Communication Department of Universitat Pompeu Fabra-Barcelona, where he coordinates the Doctoral Program in Communication (2018-2023). His research has focused on the new ecology and evolution of media, interfaces, and transmedia narratives. He is the lead researcher of the Transliteracy projects (EU H2020 Program, 2015-2018), Transliteracies (Mineco, 2015-2018), and PLATCOM (MICINN, 2020-2024). His latest books are The Laws of the Interface (2018), Media Evolution (with Fernando Rapa, 2019), Snack Culture (2020), and The Platform Wars (2022). In 2021, his first novel was published: The Great Argentine Encyclopedia.
