César Pérez Gellida
César Pérez Gellida (Valladolid, 1974) is a writer. He has published 13 novels, including those that make up the trilogies "Versos, canciones y trocitos de carne" (Memento mori, Dies irae, and Consummatum est) and "Refranes, canciones y rastros de sangre" (Sarna con gusto, Cuchillo de Palo, and A grandes males); and others like Todo lo mejor and Todo lo peor. Among the most recent, Nos crecen los enanos, Astillas en la piel, and La suerte del enano. In 2023, the TV series adaptation of Memento mori premiered.
He is one of the major references in crime fiction, with over 300,000 readers, and co-directs the Blacklladolid literary festival with Dolores Redondo. Bajo tierra seca has won the Nadal Prize 2024.
