Clara Billoch
Clara Billoch (Buenos Aires, 1965) is a landscaper, gardener, and Argentine author, known for her practical and aesthetic approach to garden design and the dissemination of gardening. She graduated as a Technician in Floriculture and Gardening from the Faculty of Agronomy at UBA in 1987, and supplemented her education with seminars in Chile, Australia, and an internship at the Bagatelle Park in Paris.
Among her most notable works are Un año en el jardín (2009), Huerta y cocina (2013), Mi propia huerta (2017), and Canteros (2020), all published by Catapulta. These books, framed in the genres of gardening and horticulture, combine technical knowledge with personal experiences, offering an accessible guide for both amateurs and garden professionals. Although she has not received notable literary awards, her work has been fundamental in the education and promotion of gardening in the Spanish-speaking world.
