Cristina Pérez
Cristina Pérez is a journalist with a career spanning over three decades, including national broadcast television, radio, and print. She currently hosts the nightly edition of Telefe Noticias, the leading news program on Telefe, where she has been since 2002. Additionally, she hosts Cristina sin vueltas on Radio Rivadavia. Her love for literature and reading is foundational to her vocation as a communicator. She has collaborated with Clarín, La Nación, Infobae, ADN, Farsa Mag, and Ultrabrit in literary criticism. Literature also led her to acting in Shakespeare plays, portraying Lady Macbeth, Queen Elizabeth, and Cleopatra. She worked at Radio Mitre, Radio Del Plata, Canal 9 (Azul Noticias, Zona de Investigación), Gente magazine, Perfil.com, CBS Telenoticias, among other media. She received five Tato Awards, four Martín Fierro Awards, a Leading Women Award, and a Security Award for her journalistic work, and was twice nominated for the ETER radio awards. She is a member of FOPEA (Argentine Journalism Forum), an NGO advocating for higher professional standards. She studied History, English, and English Literature (UNT, Oxford Continuing Education, University of London, OISE-Boston). As an author, she published Cuentos inesperados (Sudamericana, 2013), the mystery novel El jardín de los delatores (P&J, 2013), and La dama oscura (P&J, 2021). Tiempo de renacer is her fourth book.
