David Uclés
David Uclés (Úbeda, 1990) is a Spanish writer, musician, illustrator, and translator. With a degree and a master's in Translation and Interpretation, he has worked in Germany and France as a Spanish, German, and English teacher, and has lived in England and Galicia. He currently resides between Madrid and Paris.
In 2019, Uclés published The Cry of the Lion, a novel that earned him the Complutense Literature Award in the narrative category. In 2020, he introduced Emilio and October, his foray into magical realism.
