Dicker Joel
Joel Dicker was born in 1985 in Geneva, Switzerland, where he studied law. He is a French speaker. He has more than twenty million readers worldwide and won with his second novel, The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair (2013) the Goncourt Prize for High School Students, the Grand Prize for Novel of the French Academy or the Lire Prize for the best novel in French language, among other awards. Successfully translated into forty-two languages, it has become a global literary phenomenon and forms, along with The Baltimore Boys (Alfaguara, 2016) and The Alaska Sanders Case (Alfaguara, 2022), the trilogy starring the character Marcus Goldman.
