Diego Guaita Searle
(1993) Writer and graduate in culinary arts, currently dedicated to creating new literary works and constantly seeking to explore every corner of Chile
In 2020, after 5 years living in Brazil, he returns to Chile where he meets Paulo Jorquera, editor at Ediciones Mañosas. Driven by the lockdown of the pandemic, Diego travels through memories of a lost past, where he encounters his old summer refuge: the northern port of Caldera and its extensive beaches. That same year, he begins the writing process of "La Caravana de las Flores", published in September 2023
In his first work, "La Caravana de las Flores", he tells the mythical origin of the town of Caldera del Diablo, where the magic of the desert gets involved in the feelings and sorrows of the Atacama people, this with the help of its eternal flowers and the mantle where they rest.
