Elisabeth Kübler-Ross

Elisabeth Kübler-Ross (1926-2004) was a Swiss-American psychiatrist and writer, pioneer in the study of grief and the psychological processes associated with death. Her most influential work, On Death and Dying (1969), introduced the model of the five stages of grief, revolutionizing the approach to palliative care.
