Evy Poumpouras
Evy Poumpouras is an American journalist and author, known for her work as a special agent in the United States Secret Service from 2000 to 2012. During her career, she protected presidents such as Barack Obama, George W. Bush, and Bill Clinton. She also worked as a polygraph examiner and interrogator in the agency's polygraph unit. For her bravery during the September 11 attacks, she received the Secret Service Medal of Valor.
In 2020, Poumpouras published her book Becoming Bulletproof: Protect Yourself, Read People, Influence Situations, and Live Fearlessly, a non-fiction work that offers lessons on resilience and personal security. In addition to her role as an author, she has been a co-host of the series Spy Games on Bravo TV and serves as an adjunct professor of criminal justice and criminology at the City University of New York.
