Federico Andahazi
Federico Andahazi (Buenos Aires, 1963) is an Argentine writer and psychologist known for his historical narrative with erotic and fantastic elements. His first novel, The Anatomist (1997), was a finalist for the Planeta Prize and won the Fortabat Prize, sparking controversy for its theme. Other notable works include The Merciful Women (1998), The Conqueror (2006) —awarded the Planeta Prize Argentina— and The Lovers Under the Danube (2015)

In addition to his work as a novelist, Andahazi has ventured into non-fiction with the series Sexual History of the Argentines, composed of Sinning as God Commands (2008), Argentina Conceived with Sin (2009), and Sinners Male and Female (2010). His works have been translated into more than thirty languages, establishing him as an influential figure in contemporary Argentine literature.
