Friedrich Nietzche
(Röcken, current Germany, 1844 - Weimar, id., 1900) German philosopher, poet, and writer, naturalized Swiss. He is one of the most influential philosophers of contemporary times. Nietzsche was opposed to most previous philosophers. He rejects traditional metaphysics. His philosophy advocates for the free existence of human beings against any type of external bondage, whether social or religious, and presents radical ideas about truth, morality, and culture. His philosophical proposal, combined with his nihilism and his incisive phrases, has made him one of the most popular philosophers in the world.
