Ismael Palacios García
Ismael Palacios García. Molecular Biotechnology Engineer (University of Chile) and PhD in Neuroscience (Pontifical Catholic University of Chile). Associate researcher at the UDP Center for Human Neuroscience and Neuropsychology Studies, he has specialized in the study of the brain-gut-microbiota axis and its relationship with lifestyles. Co-founder of Science Impacts, he has worked on the democratization of scientific knowledge through dissemination and education projects, as well as being co-author of the book A 4270 km: diary of broken friendships, mental health, and neurosciences.
As co-founder and scientific director of the Microbial Health School, he has trained more than 150 health professionals in Latin America with a therapeutic approach based on microbiota. He is also the executive director of Eternal Company, a pioneer in the development of precision tests for microbiota analysis and the design of personalized habits.
Passionate about knowledge, collaboration, and comprehensive health, in his free time he enjoys soccer, mountaineering, Spinetta and Pink Floyd rock, and simple pleasures like a good chilled mote con huesillo and walks with his son and his little dogs.
