Javier Ponce Gambirazio
After stumbling through the job world as a photographer, taxi driver, and even a mortician's makeup artist, he became a clinical psychologist and, for fifteen years, was a professor at the Faculty of Psychology and the master's programs in Medicine and Education at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia. As a writer, he has published fourteen books in Peru, Spain, and New York, in the genres of chronicle, novel, short story, poetry, and photonovel. As an audiovisual researcher, he has directed documentaries about Lucha Reyes, Sarita Colonia, contemporary dance, among others.
