Joana Penna
Joana Penna is a Brazilian illustrator and graphic designer, born in Rio de Janeiro. From an early age, she showed an interest in art, which led her to earn a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design. Later, she expanded her studies in Barcelona and London, specializing in design, illustration, and calligraphy. Her passion for children's books and travel journals is reflected in her work, especially in the series "Diário de Pilar".
In collaboration with author Flavia Lins e Silva, Joana has illustrated the successful series "Diário de Pilar", which has been published in several countries, including Spain, Mexico, Argentina, France, Germany, China, and Poland. Additionally, the series has been adapted into theater and an animated series for Nat Geo Kids in Brazil and Latin America.
