Jorge E. Bustamante
Jorge E. Bustamante was born in Buenos Aires in 1943. He graduated as a lawyer with a gold medal from the University of Buenos Aires (1967). He received the Fulbright Scholarship. He holds a Master's in Law from Columbia University, United States (1969). He was the Secretary of Industry and Minister of Social Welfare of Corrientes (1978). He served as Undersecretary of Economy during the ministerial management of Roberto Alemann (1982). He was a founding partner of the firm MBA Lazard. He taught the postgraduate course Institutional Economics at the University of Belgrano and published Deregulation: Between Law and Economics (1992). He has been a contributor to La Ley, La Nación, Ámbito Financiero, and La Nueva Provincia.
