Julia Rendón Abrahamson
Julia Rendón Abrahamson (Quito, 1978). Bachelor in Literature. Author of the books The House is Very Big (2015) Malena's Hand (2020), and Mares and Calves (2021). She has participated in the anthologies The Other Portal (2017) and Choir of Voices: Chronicles of an Earthquake (2017). Several of her texts have been published in various printed and digital media in Ecuador, Argentina, and the United States. She was one of the winners of the Montserrat Roig Barcelona 2021 writing scholarship. She teaches creative writing workshops. She was the founder of the PezPlátano Cultural Space in Quito. Lived and worked in Boston, New York, and Buenos Aires.
