PhD in Philosophy and Educational Sciences, as well as a writer, she is the president of the Spanish Association "Slow People", founded in 2007 (www.slowpeople.org) and also directs the ECOARTE Project for the integration of science and art in addressing environmental issues (www.ecoarte.org). She works as a UNESCO Chair in Environmental Education and Sustainable Development at the National University of Distance Education. She is a frequent speaker at Spanish, European, and Latin American forums.
