Mariana Tello Weiss

Mariana Tello Weiss was born in San Salvador de Jujuy in 1975. With a degree in Psychology and a PhD in Public Orientation Anthropology from the Autonomous University of Madrid, she works as a professor at the National University of Córdoba and a researcher at Conicet. She has been a researcher at the Space for Memory and the Promotion of Human Rights ex CCDTyE La Perla and president of the National Archive of Memory. Her research focuses on the anthropology of violence, sociopolitical conflicts, and human rights, addressing issues such as the memories of militancy and the "armed struggle" in the 70s in Argentina; memories and identities around concentration camp experiences; disappearance, the "appearances," and the production of spectrality in the Argentine post-dictatorship. She has published articles in various national and international journals and has participated in multiple events.
