Melin Furman
Melina Furman (July 18, 1975 – September 6, 2024) was a distinguished Argentine biologist, educator, and researcher. She earned her bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires and completed a master's and a PhD in Education at Columbia University. She served as a professor at the School of Education at the University of San Andrés and as a researcher at CONICET, focusing on promoting critical and creative thinking from childhood to adulthood. Her book "Teaching Differently" received the Education Book Award from the Book Foundation of Argentina in 2020.
