Mikel Hawke
Mykel Hawke (born November 29, 1965 in Fort Knox, Kentucky, USA) is a veteran of the U.S. Army Special Forces, known for his work as a survival expert, writer, and television host. He joined the army in 1982 and served actively until 2011, reaching the rank of captain. During his military career, he participated in various missions, including rescues in conflict zones like Afghanistan and Colombia, and trained UN peace forces in Africa.
After retiring, Hawke dedicated himself to spreading survival knowledge, founding SpecOps Inc. and creating educational programs. He rose to fame as a host and producer of shows like Man, Woman, Wild, One Man Army, Lost Survivors, and Elite Tactical Unit. He has appeared in over 50 television programs and has written several books on survival, medicine, and personal development.
Additionally, Hawke has worked as a consultant for the U.S. Special Operations Command and maintains his security clearance. He is married to British presenter Ruth England and they have three children and two grandchildren.
