Óscar Colchado Lucio (Huallanca, Áncash; November 14, 1947-Lima, January 20, 2023) was a teacher, poet, short story writer, and Peruvian novelist, best known for being the author of the novel Rosa Cuchillo and the children's literary saga of the Andean character Cholito, with its first edition Cholito tras las huellas de Lucero published in 1980 and which had more than 10 subsequent editions after that
