Óscar de la Borbolla
Óscar de la Borbolla is a writer, poet, essayist, and full professor in the area of Metaphysics and Ontology at the National School of Professional Studies of Acatlán at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees, with honors, in philosophy at the same university. He pursued doctoral studies in philosophy at the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain. He contributes to the editorial section of the Excélsior newspaper with a fiction and dark humor column called "Ucronías". He has received the following awards for his short stories: Honorable Mention at the Esperante International Short Story Contest (1985), with the story "The Song of the Sirens", and the International Plural Short Story Award (1987), with the story "The Corners of Chance". He has also won several awards for his novels Nothing is too much (1991) and Everything is allowed (1994). He currently works for Proyecto 40 in a cultural dissemination program.
