Rafael Jodar Anchia
Rafael Jódar Anchía holds a PhD in Psychology from the Pontifical Comillas University, where he has been a professor since 2006 and serves as the Vice Dean of Research at the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences since 2022. Specialized in experiential humanistic psychotherapy and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), he trained with Leslie Greenberg at York University in Canada and is an accredited trainer by the International Society for Emotion Focused Therapy. Since 2001, he has worked as a psychotherapist in centers such as Proyecto Hombre and UNINPSI, focusing on anxiety and depression processes.
He is co-author of the book Practical Manual of Emotion-Focused Therapy (2023), together with Ciro Caro García, with a foreword by Leslie Greenberg. Additionally, he has contributed to collective works such as Experiential Therapies I and II (2022), focused on existential and Gestalt therapies. His academic output includes research on emotional regulation, mindfulness, compassion, and self-differentiation, published in specialized journals.
