Rick Yancey
Rick Yancey, born on November 4, 1962, is an American writer known for his thriller, fantasy, and science fiction novels aimed at young audiences. He studied at Florida State University and graduated from Roosevelt University in Chicago with a Bachelor's degree in English. Before dedicating himself fully to writing, he worked as a field officer for the United States Internal Revenue Service.
Among his most notable works is the trilogy "The 5th Wave", consisting of "The 5th Wave" (2013), "The Infinite Sea" (2014), and "The Last Star" (2016), all in the genre of young adult science fiction.
