Sam Walton
Samuel Moore Walton (Kingfisher, Oklahoma, March 29, 1918 - Little Rock, Arkansas, April 5, 1992) was an American businessman and military officer, known for founding the world's largest retail chain, Walmart. Wal-Mart Stores Inc. grew to become the world's largest corporation by revenue, as well as the world's largest private employer. For a time, Walton was the richest man in the United States.
