Sergio Cancino
Sergio Cancino was born in Molina, Chile, in 1976. He is a journalist and editor. He was the director and host of the radio stations Concierto, Rock & Pop, and UNO. He wrote for the supplements Zona de Contacto and Wikén, of the newspaper El Mercurio, and in the magazine Rolling Stone Chile, among other media. He taught about radio and music industry in various universities. Since 2016, he has been a juror for the Pulsar Award to Chilean Music. He is the author of the books "Acuario - Manuel García" (2022) and "Invisible - La Ley" (2024), both published by La Piedra Redonda Ediciones. He participated in the anthologies "Pasión por la música" (LOM, 1996); "Cuentos para grandes" (Ediciones B, 2011); "100 años de la radio en Chile" (LOM, 2022); and "Independientes. 101 sellos discográficos" (Santiago-Ander, 2024).
