Vanessa Van Edwards, a human behavior expert, is a speaker, researcher, and author of the bestseller Captivate: The Science of Succeeding with People, translated into sixteen languages. Over thirty-six million people have visited her YouTube channel, and her TED talk has amassed four and a half million views. She is the founder of Science of People, a research lab whose studies on human behavior have been featured in Fast Company, Inc., USA Today, Entrepreneur, CNN, and CBS, among other media. For over a decade, she has led corporate training and workshops at world-class companies and institutions such as Google, Dove, Microsoft, Comcast, and MIT. She lives with her husband and daughter in Austin, Texas.
