Víctor Amat
(Barcelona, 1963) Spanish psychologist and psychotherapist, known for his innovative and critical approach in the field of mental health. Graduated in Psychology from Ramon Llull University, he directs the Barcelona Brief Therapy Centre and is the president of the Spanish Association of Brief Therapy. Among his most notable works are "Psychology Punk" (2022), where he challenges traditional positive thinking; "Self-Esteem Punk" (2023), offering an alternative view on self-esteem; and "Antimeditations" (2023), a critical reinterpretation of Stoic teachings. His publications are characterized by a direct and provocative style that encourages deep reflection on the human mind.
