Vladdo
Vladimir Flórez (Armenia, Colombia, 1963), known as Vladdo, is a key figure in graphic humor and political satire in Colombia and Latin America. Creator of the iconic section Vladdomania and the character Aleida, his works tackle themes of love, society, and politics with sharpness and humor.
Author of more than a dozen books -among them Vladdo 1986-2011. 25 years in work-, he has received accolades such as the Simón Bolívar National Journalism Award, the Excellence in Caricature Award from the Inter American Press Association, and awards from the Society for News Design (USA). His critical perspective establishes him as one of the most influential cartoonists in the region.
