Yolanda Ramirez Michel
Yolanda Ramírez Michel (Morelia, Mexico, 1965) is a Mexican writer, poet, and essayist known for her focus on comparative mythology and children's and youth literature. Doctor Honoris Causa in Educational Sciences from Universidad Santander (2019), she has been a fellow of the State Council for Culture and the Arts of Jalisco in 2011 and 2023. She is the founder of Trithemius Literary Workshops and the director of publications at Salto Mortal publishing house. Her work spans various genres, including poetry, essays, and narrative.
Among her most notable works are La maestra Milagros (2010), Jacinta (2008), Palingenesia (2011), Los mitos del alba (2011), Grimori Mundi (2013), Litterae (2014), Todos somos magos (2014), El Tarot de don Quijote (2016), El Manifiesto Luminista (2017), Crónica de una reparación vital (2018), Nimué, la dama de los cuentos (2020), and El Evangelio del Universo (2020). Additionally, she has coordinated anthologies such as Submarinos de papel (2009) and Fiestas de Yule (2013).
