Theatrical designer from the University of Chile, he has been an art director for (video)games, movies, and series with more than 20 years of experience.
Yoyo is a current artist who has also participated in graphic development in different formats such as cinema, television, and internet content, and covers for renowned historical Chilean media like TRAUKO, BANDIDO, HOY, APSI, and CAUCE, as well as for TOTEM in Spain and FIERRO from Argentina. He has also developed graphic projects for
the famous MEDIA LAB at MIT and other multimedia educational projects for universities.
He holds a prominent place in the creation of the 90s Chilean pop iconography after
his participation in projects like Trauko magazine or the audiovisuals Papelucho, Mampato, Condorito, and others like Kapoanimados or the memorable Basuritas album.
Invicto is a true story inspired by his grandfather, Santiago Salfate.
