Adrienne Barbeau ( 11. Juni 1945 in Sacramento, Kalifornien) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin. Whrend ihrer Highschool- und Collegezeit nahm Barbeau Gesangs- und Tanzunterricht. Mitte der 1960er Jahre tourte sie als Mitglied des San Jose Light Opera Ensembles ber die pazifischen Sttzpunkte des US-Militrs und arbeitete gegen Ende des Jahrzehnts in verschiedenen Jobs in New York City, unter anderem als Gogo-Tnzerin und Kartenverkuferin in Nachtclubs. 1968 spielte sie die Rolle der Hodel in Anatevka und ab 1972 die Rolle der Betty Rizzo in dem Musical Grease. Fr ihre Leistung in Grease wurde Barbeau 1972 fr einen Tony Award als Beste Nebendarstellerin in einem Musical nominiert. Durch ihren Erfolg am Broadway wurde Norman Lear auf Adrienne Barbeau aufmerksam und bot ihr die Rolle der Carol Traynor in der Fernsehserie Maude an.
