Synopsis "CAPTAIN TSUBASA 21 (in Spanish)"

La historia cuenta la vida de Tsubasa Ozora, un pibe con un fanatismo demencial por el fútbol que sueña con entrenar en Brasil y ser campeón del mundo con la selección japonesa. Cuando una pelota de fútbol le salva la vida literalmente, su hobby se vuelve una obsesión y así comienza su camino a la gloria. En las primeras instancias entrará al Nankatsu (Newpy, o Ñupi en el primer doblaje del anime), un club pequeño que irá creciendo a la par de sus habilidades. Pronto conoce a Taro Misaki (Tom), con el que formaría un dúo dorado de goleadores, a su amigo y rival el arquero Genzo Wakabayashi (Benji Price) y al implacable y eterno adversario Kojiro Hyuga (Steve), el malo pero que en el fondo bueno que se hace odiar y querer intermitentemente.
