On the other hand, when we neglect to pay attention to this aspect of their nature, they will find the ?answers? themselves through friends, books, the media, etc. and this could have an unfortunate but lasting effect on their lives and on their relationship with God. Proverb 22:6 offers another opportunity to bring children closer to God. It charges the custodians of children as follows: ?Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it?.
