Rainbow Rowell (born February 24, 1973 in Nebraska, USA) is an American writer known for her contemporary novels aimed at both young adults and adults. Her most notable work is Eleanor & Park (2012), a young adult novel that has received critical acclaim.

Another notable work is Fangirl (2013), published in Spanish by Alfaguara in 2014.
