Synopsis "Eringuild"

A fantasy tale for older children, Eringuild, is an exciting, magical and imaginative adventure. Jeremy Applegate is seven years old and his once safe little world has been turned upside down. The rising black sun is almost ready to consume this once tranquil place and throw it into darkness, along with the help of the shadow dwellers, giants and other mystical creatures. Jeremy is tasked with the quest of finding and restoring the country's symbol of peace (a golden acorn) to its rightful place. He also learns that his father is in Eringuild, too, and sets out to find him. But time is not on his side. Can this young boy face up to these dark and dangerous creatures? Can he take on the responsibility of saving this country? And will he and his father ever be reunited?
