Synopsis "EVANESCENCIA (in Spanish)"

Los versos de Evanescencia se han gestado entre el Barrio de Las Letras de Madrid y el mar Jónico de Calabria, entre crápula y ascetismo. Hurgan en las entrañas, con una mirada cabizalta al plenilunio; huyen la epidermis, aun arañándola siempre, hasta descarnarla. Son, a la vez, canto y llanto. Son una vuelta a un yo intacto y auténtico, tras estallar en jirones. Un llamado a la integridad y al amor propio, frente a una otredad hiriente, por su intermitencia, por su turbia cobardía. Se trata de poemas diciendo que ya. Constataciones de siniestro, desencuentros, desnortes, deflagraciones; deriva y desembarco. Un eco: “el azaroso/tropezar de tanto efímero llegar” evanesce.

Francesca Federico (Reggio Calabria, 1993), Italian researcher and poet. She holds a PhD in Latin American Literature from the Complutense University of Madrid, with a thesis on the influence of Gabriele D’Annunzio on the work of major Latin American modernists. Another area of her scientific interest is Arguedian criticism: her focus is on the written production in Quechua. Her academic trajectory includes a Master's in Latin American Literature from the Complutense University of Madrid, a Bachelor's Degree in Languages, Modern European and American Literatures from the University of the Studies “G. d’Annunzio” of Chieti-Pescara, and a Degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures from the same institution. She is a member of the Central Committee of La Huaca es Poesía and some of her poems have previously been published in a digital edition curated by Rafael Hidalgo, La Huaca es Poesía.
