The Great Amen......is the remarkable story of a movement that dared to ask a simple but urgent question: Who will inspire the next generation of gospel preachers? When Dwight A. Moody received an unexpected invitation to launch an initiative for young preachers, he could not have imagined what would follow. From a single conversation grew the Academy of Preachers-a nationwide movement dedicated to identifying, networking, supporting, and inspiring young people called to proclaim the gospel.Across a decade of festivals, camps, partnerships, and unforgettable sermons, hundreds of young men and women from dozens of Christian traditions discovered their voices, deepened their callings, and found a community that believed in them. Baptist and Catholic, Orthodox and Pentecostal, Black and White, women and men, able-bodied and differently-abled-each brought a unique witness to the power of preaching.Filled with inspiring stories, memorable personalities, and powerful moments of faith, The Great Amen celebrates the enduring importance of preaching in a world that often dismisses it as outdated or irrelevant. More than a history of an organization, it is a testimony to the transformative power of God's call and the profound difference one faithful voice can make. For anyone who loves preaching, believes in young leaders, or longs to see faith renewed in a new generation, this is a story of hope, courage, and holy possibility.Dwight A.
