He mainly anticipated the opportunity to learn great cooking skills from a professional chef in a week-long class his uncle scheduled for them.
A foreign exchange student didn't fit those plans, but the Glovers had no choice. For seven weeks, they must host an applicant from the UK. The exchange program depended on families like the Glovers.
Aspen resented the commitment his family was obligated to accept. He didn't like Beaumont, but not because of the obligation. It went beyond that. The boys' personalities were exact opposites.
